A very well composed piece of literature. I’m hard pressed to call to mind an author who can emote as well as a say, Zora Neal Hurston. I paced myself on this book to leave myself wondering. Resisting finishing a book in one sitting. In a vile and filthy world we’ve inherited, this literature is a ray of sunshine.

This book is a key for understanding, facing and healing pain. I am grateful to have read it during the time I needed it most. These words felt like my subconscious confirming.

I read this book at a point in my life where I was really hurting and it touched me in so many ways. It was almost therapeutic to know that I wasn’t alone. Whenever I would start to feel upset about something or started to overthink, this really calmed me down and provided me with a new perspective. I’ll definitely be checking out Rupi’s other work. This was also very easy to read since it was poems. Not too time consuming.
